Traditional Asphalt Paving
Asphalt pavement is utilized in a variety of different applications because of its durability, simplicity of construction, and strength. This is the tried and true asphalt. Millings
Recycled Asphalt Paving
Asphalt Milling is recycled asphalt. When a road is removed the asphalt is crushed and processed to be reused. The crushed mixture is then laid similar to traditional asphalt. Tar is still present in recycled asphalt. This means that recycled asphalt will bond better than loose driveway products and materials. When wet and compacted, recycled asphalt will bond easily. This will produce a semi-permanent driveway, which keeps dust and dirt in place, and doesn't washout. Recycling asphalt saves on oil and labor, resulting in greater savings. With proper maintenance it will last 7-10 years.
